Garcia's perfectionism for the camera here, if it's from Sept '81, is especially ironic since just a month later the band would write him a letter complaining about "never listening to what anybody else plays..."

By the way - to change the subject - a long time ago, you were trying to recall a Garcia interview you'd read by an English reviewer who told Garcia his music sucked.
It was Paul Morley, of the New Musical Express, in March '81.
"You're just a part of a perpetuation of bland, blanketing myths. Does that disappoint you?"
Garcia: "Nah! I didn't have any expectations... If you start out expecting to fail and expecting the worst, then anything that happens is an improvement over that...we're just starting."
